Bush: Iraq Not In Civil War - 28 Nov 2006 at 9:30am - President Bush says the situation in Iraq cannot be called civil war, but rather a rash of violence prompted by an al Qaeda plot to fan the flames of sectarian hatred among the nation's different ethnicities.

Can Bush really not see that it is he himself who has set all this in motion?

Report: EU hindered CIA prison probe - 28 Nov 2006 at 10:34am - European countries knew about U.S. secret jails for terrorism suspects and have obstructed an investigation into the transport and illegal detention of prisoners, a draft European Parliament report said on Tuesday.
