Gates: Iran hikes support for militias - 11 Apr 2008 at 1:04pm - WASHINGTON -- Iranian support for militias in Iraq has grown, top U.S. defense leaders said Friday, asserting that recent battles in Basra gave the Iraqis an eye-opening view of Iran's increased negative role there.
Has the U.S. not also supported militias in Iraq? It's conceivable there are those in Iraq who see the United States' role in Iraq in a negative light. For example....
