NYC Wants to Ban Geiger Counters - January 28, @11:05AM - Ellis D. Tripp noted a village voice article about attempts in NYC to pass a law requiring permits for air monitoring devices including apparently geiger counters. I'm sure everyone will feel much safer not knowing anything.

Bush to seek $70 billion in partial 2009 war funding - 28 Jan 2008 at 10:54am - WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Bush administration will next week ask Congress for $70 billion to fund the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and other related operations for part of the 2009 fiscal year, the Pentagon said on Monday.
