White House: World Bank can be effective with Wolfowitz - Tue May 8, 2007 1:08PM EDT - WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House said on Tuesday the World Bank could continue to be effective with embattled World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz in charge.
Well, yeah, and the White House has been effective in implementing Wolfowitz's plans for Iraq -- but is it the kind of effectiveness anyone (besides the White House) is interested in?

At face value, interesting rhetoric, coming from a diehard right-winger. But has anyone any doubt that Republicans will "see results", no matter what happens in Iraq between now and fall?
